Few rules to run in good conditions
and without having any surprise! The most important rule, which
is not defined in the regulations, is the good mood. Run for
your own pleasure and forget about the competition!
Article 1
The 14th edition of La Parisienne is organized on September 12th 2010 by La Parisienne, whose head office is located at 69 avenue Paul Vaillant Couturier, 94250 GENTILLY.
Article 2
La Parisienne is a running race of 6 km in the heart of Paris with musical groups.
Article 3. Condition of participation
Only women born before 1994 are eligible to run at La Parisienne.
The registrations will be open on March 8th until July 31st 2010. If the maximum number of participants (18 000) is reached before the registration deadline, the organization would have the right to stop any further registration.
In compliance with the law N°99-223, regarding the athletes’ health protection and the fight against anti-doping, voted by the lower house of the French parliament of 03/23/1999, the participation to sports events or competitions organized or accredited by the sports federation is entitled to the presentation of a sports permit attesting of a medical proof delivery mentioning the indication “able to run a race in competition”, or for non-licensees to whom these competitions are opened, the presentation of this only medical proof or its copy, of less than a year from September 12th, 2010.
Only Licensees of the French Federation of Athletics: you must attach to your application form a copy of your sports permit and include its number on the back of your application form.
Non-licensees: you must attach to your application form a medical proof mentioning the indication “able to run a race in competition” of less than a year from La Parisienne event, or its copy.
I know that participating in the 14th edition of La Parisienne and related events is a potentially hazardous activity. I agree not to enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained.
I agree to abide by any decision of an Event official relative to my ability to safely complete the Event. I am voluntarily entering and assume all risks associated with participating in the Events, including, but no limited to, falls, spills, contact with vehicles, other participants, spectators or others, the effect of weather, including heat and/or humidity, or cold, traffic and the conditions of the course or other areas of the Event, including congestion, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.
Article 4. Registrations
You can apply through two different ways:
Internet (with secured payment or by check)
Electronic form with a login and password for the Company Challenge and Tour Operators
The registration of 35 euros ATI (All Taxes Included) is composed of:

3 days of well being village
Until July 31st 2010, the race number could be customized by your firstname and “Ma Première Parisienne” if it is the first time you run the race.
No application on site in the village would be submitted nor race number given on September 12th, 2010.
No modification or cancellation will be possible prior to the registration (be careful with the mistakes when you write the name of the team). The registration and the fees are non-transferable and non-refundable unless if an accident occurred or a doctor justify a medical incapacity. In this case, you have to send to La Parisienne, at the latest 8 days after the event, this medical incapacity dated before the date of the race. We will refund you 15 euros. If you can’t participate to the race you could take advantage of the offers of “La Carte La Parisienne Attitude”. The difference between the original price and the repayment corresponding to administrative fees and the price of “La carte La Parisienne Attitude”.
After those dates, the registration and the fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Article 5. Classes
The participants can be registered in one of these two classes “Mommy” or “Grandma”. Any entrants that do not belong to one of these two classes will be registered to the general ranking.
Article 6. Trophies and Challenges
La Parisienne rewards 1 trophy and 3 challenges in addition to the general ranking and the two classes.
The Trophy
Colette Besson
The winner of La Parisienne will receive the Colette Besson Trophy.
The Challenges
“Mother-Daughter”:
The team is made up of a mother and one or several of her daughters (registered under their mother’s name). The ranking will be based on the real time obtained by the last arrived daughter. You must fulfill and check the Challenge “Mother-Daughter” checkbox on each individual application form. The first team will receive the “Mother-Daughter” Trophy.
“Friends”:
The team is made up of at least 5 friends. The ranking will be computed with the cumulated points of the first five friends only. You must name your team and put it on each individual application form (use the same spelling) where you check the Challenge “Friends” checkbox. The first team will receive the “Friends” Trophy.
To avoid any mistake, you’d rather use a compound name for your team.
“Company”:
The team is made up of at least 10 colleagues of the same company. Are allowed to participate to this challenge the employees of the company under conditions specific to the participation of the companies, and their rights.
The ranking is based on the first ten finishers only. The team leader must fulfill the electronic application form with login and password provided by the organization. The first team will receive the “Well-Being” Trophy, which will be thrown-in the following year unless the company receives it for 3rd consecutive year. The result is computed by dividing the total points of the first ten members or colleagues by their cumulated years. The smallest ratio will receive the “Well-being” Trophy.
NB: The real time does not take into account the time of the start but the time when you cross the carpet.
Article 7. Challenge Company
The registrations to the “Challenge Company” will be open on March 8th, 2010 until the 31st of july 2010 for the final payment and the reception of the medical proofs. The login and password will be given until July 15th 2010.
The team is established by 10 cowerworkers minimum of the same company. The result will be realized on the total of the time of 10 first ones only, divided by the accumulation of their ages. The smallest ratio will win the Trophy Well-being.
A person registered in “Challenge Company” can also be registered in the category “Mommy” or “Grandma”, but cannot accumulate two challenges ("Mother-Daughter" or "Friends").
In regard to the “Challenge Company”, the individual registration fees are 35 euros HT (before sales tax) and the team leader must use the electronic form with login and password to submit the application.
To open a registration for you company, a file fees of 50 euros HT (before sales tax) will be asked. The login and password will be provided by the organization once the payment of the file fees done.
Your acceptation and your registration are upon the following requirements
▪ The electronic or online application form fulfilled correctly
▪ The medical proof or the sports permit number sent by mail or attached file
▪ The final payment
A registration confirmation will be sent by mail.
For the collection of race numbers, the person in charge can remove them from Wednesday, September 8th, 2010 from the Village La Parisienne (Plateau Joffre at Champ de Mars, in front of Ecole Militaire).
No application on site in the village would be submitted nor race number given on September 12th, 2010.
Any incomplete form will be considered as litigious.
For the Tour Operator, the individual registration fees are 35 euros HT (before sales tax) and the Tour Operator must use the electronic form with login and password to submit the application.
Article 8. Rights of publicity and privacy
I grant my permission to La Parisienne and all of the foregoing persons and entities to use or authorize others to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of my participation in the Event for any legitimate purpose without remuneration and for an unlimited time.
Article 9. The CNIL (National commission on data protections and liberties) and Internet
In compliance with the law on data protections and liberties of January 6th, 1978, you have the right to access and modify any of your personal data. You may receive proposals from other companies or associations through our organization. You may, at your will, undertake to remove these proposals for good from any request by mail including your last name, first name, and address.
While submitting your application, you will be entitled to receive La Parisienne electronic newsletter. However, you may undertake to remove your subscription to this newsletter for good from any request of you by email to informations@la-parisienne.net.
THE RACE
Article 10. Collection of race numbers
Race numbers are nominative; no name will be switched on site.
You will be able to pick up your race number by showing a valid ID card at the Village La Parisienne. The collection will be on Friday September 10th, 2010 (10:00 AM to 8:00 PM) or on Saturday September 11th, 2010 (10:00 AM to 8:00 PM). You won’t be able to pick up your race number on Sunday September 12th, 2010. About the online application, you must provide a medical proof or its copy while collecting your race number or send it before the dates of collection.
Anyone, who shows a valid ID card, is allowed to pick up someone else’s race number.
The bureau of dispute located in the Village La Parisienne will settle any incomplete folder.
In regard to the challenges, the team leader will be enable to pick up the race numbers of her team as well as the team’s T-shirts by showing her teammates ID card or their copy (mandatory for the Company Challenge).
Article 11. Start / Finish
The start will take place at 10:00 am on the Pont d’Iéna. The finish will be at the Champ de Mars, near Ecole Militaire, avenue de la Motte-Picquet.
Article 12. Course
La Parisienne is a race of 6 km in the heart of Paris and rhythmical by musical activities. The course will be closed to traffic all along the official time of the race.
Article 13. Beverage and food supply
Snack stands will be at km 3 and at the finish (water, fruits…).
Article 14. Time
No chip, no ranking: at the time of your arrival at the Village, we will give you your race number and an electronic chip. This chip will be tied to your shoe and will be automatically initialized at the starting line. Any entrant who won’t cross the timing carpet won’t be ranked.
Article 15. Ranking and prizes
A general ranking of the running time (real time) by class and by challenge will be done at the end of the race. In order to preserve equity, athlete-guests as well as the 3 top finishers of the general ranking would not be entitled to be rewarded neither for the class (“Mommy” or “Grandma”) nor for the challenge (Mother-Daughter - Clubs or Friends Trophy) ranking.
The winners will receive the prizes at the Village La Parisienne, on the Champ de Mars, Sunday September 12th, 2010 at 1:00 pm.
THE EVENT
Article 16. Training La Parisienne
The training are strictly reserved to the members of The privilege card “La Carte La Parisienne Attitude”. The training will take place on april 18, may 23, and the weekend of june 20th 2010. The individual registration fees to participate to the training are 1 euro for the public program “1 euro, 1 ribbon”. If the number of entrants exceeds the limit before the registration deadline, the organization would have the right to stop any further registration.
Insurance
Civil liability: The organizers are covered by a civil liability insurance in compliance with the roadrunners’ charter.
Personal accident: Sports’ licensees benefit from specific warranties provided by their sports permit insurance. It is the other participants’ responsibility to be personally insured.
Non-licensees: you must attach to your application form a medical proof mentioning the indication “able to run a race in competition” of less than a year from La Parisienne event, or its copy.

Article 17. Card “La Parisienne Attitude”
The privilege card “La Carte La Parisienne Attitude” is offered for all the participants. It is valid from the day of your registration to march 8th, 2011. This card is safety and personal. You could impress it since the button “Already a member” online. With this privilege card, you could take advantages of several commercial offers of our sponsor. You must present a valid ID card or a copy to take benefit of the offers.

You can only buy The privilege card “La Carte La Parisienne Attitude” for 15 euros.
Article 18. Participation to the lottery drawing of the passport
On the occasion of La Parisienne, on September 12th, 2010, there will be a lottery drawing of the passport lots after the prizes presentation at 1:00 PM. The passport will be included in the bag with the race number. Each participant could stamp her passport to sponsor’s stand and put the passport in the specific box located in the Boutique Nike/La Parisienne before Saturday 11th september at 6:00 PM and before Sunday, 12th september at 10:00 AM to win the travel to the race “La sénégazelle”. The lottery drawing will be take place on the main stage on Saturday 11th september at 7:00 PM and Sunday, 12th september at 1:00 PM. The winners will be alerted by mail after the event and on the website.
Article 19. Activities and nursery for children
An area exclusively destined to children will be located in the Village La Parisienne.
Sports and play activities will be organized on Saturday 11th, 2010 (2:00 AM to 8h00 PM)
A nursery for children aged from 4 to 12 years old will be at the disposal of the participants on September 12th, 2010 during the race, within a limited number (8h00 AM to 1h30 PM).
Having read the terms of this application and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of this application, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, do hereby voluntarily enter and assume all risks associated with participating in these sports activities.
Article 20. Charities
La Parisienne supports the eradication of the breast cancer with two programs:
-The public program “1 euro, 1 ribbon” standing at the Village La Parisienne and during the training. The funds raised with the ribbon sales will also be paid into the Fondation pour la Recherche Médicale.
-Following the edition 2010, La Parisienne will donate to “Fondation à la Recherche Médicale” (FRM).
THE ORGANIZER
The organization reserves the right to cancel the event in case of exceptional cases (bad weather…).
Article 21. Insurance

Personal accident: Sports’ licensees benefit from specific warranties provided by their sports permit insurance. It is the other participants’ responsibility to be personally insured.
Article 22. Safety
Clubs of Ile-de-France are in charge of the safety of the course and the Village La Parisienne. The police headquarters will enforce the course safety. Medical care will be provided.
